Cassandra’s Lust Objects, continued…

There are so many to choose from, where to begin?
OK, that’s a stupid question. For me the answer is obvious.
Toshiya – Ah, Toshiya. Real name Hara Toshimasa. Bass player extrordinaire for Dir en grey (seriously, take a listen, he’s fucking awe inspiring). Six feet of sheer physical perfection. Known amongst fans of the Japanese rock/metal/indie/punk/all things alterna music scene as the Universal Lust Object. The stunning facial features, the cheeky grin, the gobsmackingly beautiful body (seriously, I had my hands on that chest and stomach a few weeks ago and DAMN). The pouty lips, the gorgeous collarbones, the ridiculously long legs. The ass…the tendency to turn his back to the audience, bend over and smack his own ass. The fact that he actually seems to LIKE being objectified by women. The fact that he actually seems to like women, period. The endless sexy photoshoots. The willingness to pose in compromising positions with other men to make the female fans happy. The habit of going shirtless on stage. The leather pants. His lovely habit, sadly not seen for the last couple of years, of molesting and licking his band-mates during shows. Simulating fellatio on his guitar player just to get a rise out of the (mostly female) crowd – thanks, babe, we appreciate it! The tiny little hips. The perfectly defined torso. The big, beautiful eyes.
He’s so stunning I can even forgive him for the fact that he used to make a prettier girl than me. I remember him when he first appeared as a skinny, goofy, thoroughly silly 19 year old boy…when did he get so manly? And yet somehow manage to keep the goofy charm and the tendency to randomly cuddle people without warning? How does he manage to interact with all those adoring teenage girls without either intimidating or leering at them? Everyone who meets the guys seems to walk away in a good mood, babbling about how sweet and friendly and unpretentious he was. How does he do that? Add in the fact that he’s so blunt you sometimes wonder if he has any filter at all…perfect, really.
And then there’s the way he grooves with that bass…
If one was to design a man exactly to Cassandra’s personal specifications he would look a lot like Toshiya. Alas, he has recently been wearing a wedding ring so he seems to be off the market, but a girl can dream, right?

And pretty's what works for me!
And, praise all things that are good, no body hair.

i like the one of him in the suit. I have a thing for suits. in fact, the suit AND the pretty almost makes up for the lack of overwhelming...manliness. Almost.

I'd tie him up.

Zan - this would be a good time to remind you that I groped him, huh?
You should have gone to a show!

Ren- I'm a fan of suits too, oddly enough. Maybe I shall post more pretty boys in suits later...

Cassandra,

I had a look around your blog. Only looked at the most recent posts, but yours certainly seems to be a version of feminism I can whole heartedly embrace... maybe we'll actually be able to sort out those communication difficulties at some point down the line.

I admire your ability to verbally desribe what you find stimulating about your - dare i say it? - "object" of desire...

Cassandra Says said...

Tobias - the term object of desire is not forbidden here.
I am rather curious as to why you seem so unconflicted about my site, since you seem very much conflicted about feminism in general.

He's very pretty.

Nonetheless, the object of desire I find myself most fixated on here is that five-string fretless. Mmm, basslust.

Jesus, I am such a dork.

dan l-k...well, on the plus side, you could theoretically buy the bass. The guy, not so much.
